Albuquerque Soaring Association: The Albuquerque Soaring Association, dedicated to all soaring and electrics, is based in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Austin Silent Flyers: The Austin Silent Flyers are a newly chartered by AMA, and have a superb flying field at Travis County North East Metropolitan Regional Park north east of Austin, Texas. They encourage all forms of R/C soaring and electric flying.
Baltimore Area Soaring Society (BASS): The Baltimore Area Soaring Society is an AMA sanctioned club of approximately 60 members operating from two flying fields north of Baltimore, Maryland, accommodating both sailplanes and electrics.
Blue Ridge Area Soaring Society (BRASS): BRASS is dedicated to all aspects of soaring, from H/L to Scale, TD to Slope, with numerous beautiful slope sites, including one overlooking Jefferson's Monticello.
Buckeye Soaring Society: Buckeye Soaring Society is located in Cleveland, Ohio.
Capital Area Soaring Association (CASA): Capital Area Soaring Association covers Maryland, DC, & Northern Virginia.
Central Arizona Soaring League (CASL): Central Arizona Soaring League is based in Gilbert, Arizona, a suburb of the Phoenix metro area.
Central Valley R/C Soaring Club: Central Valley R/C Soaring Club, Visalia, California - Home of the Fall Soaring Festival in Visalia.
Charles River Radio Controllers: Charles River Radio Controllers was established in 1964 and currently has about 140 members. CRRC is based in Eastern Massachusetts.
Clarence Sailplane Society (CSS): Clarence Sailplane Society is located in the Buffalo/Niagara Falls area of New York.
Coffee Airfoilers: Coffee Airfoilers, located in South Central Tennessee, are dedicated to all facets of model aircraft.
Dayton Area Thermal Soarers (DARTS): Dayton Area Thermal Soarers are based out of Dayton, Ohio. Web site includes information on the Ohio Valley Soaring Series (OVSS) for clubs in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.
DownEast Soaring Club: The DownEast Soaring Club (DESC) covers the Portland Maine area and beyond. DESC is host to the New England RC Soaring Convention, a bi-annual event.
Eastern Iowa Soaring Society (E.I.S.S.): Eastern Iowa Soaring Society covers members in IA, IL, IN, KS, NE, WI.
The Eastern Soaring League (ESL): The Eastern Soaring League (ESL) promotes R/C Soaring in the East. Members organize soaring activities and contests through many local soaring clubs.
Florida Soaring Society (FSS): Florida Soaring Society is a league of Florida soaring clubs.
Houston Hawks Soaring Club: Houston Hawks Soaring Club is located in Houston, Texas.
Inland Empire Soaring Society: Inland Empire Soaring Society is based in Spokane, Washington and has members from eastern Washington and northern Idaho.
Intermountain Silent Flyers (IMSF): Intermountain Silent Flyers are located in the greater Salt Lake City area of Utah.
International Scale Soaring Association (ISSA): The International Scale Soaring Association is an A.M.A. chartered club for those that enjoy building and flying scale, radio controlled, model sailplanes.
Knights of the Air RC: Knights of the Air RC is located in Springfield, Illinois.
Lancaster Area Soaring Society (LASS): The Lancaster Area Soaring Society, located in Lancaster PA, was formed and AMA chartered in 1972 (AMA charter 1178). This probably makes it the original LASS, a popular acronym.
The League of Silent Flight (LSF): The League of Silent Flight (LSF) is an international fraternity of RC soaring pilots who have earned the right to become members by achieving specific goals in soaring flight.
League of Flight by Thermal (LOFT): The League of Silent Flight by Thermal, based out of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, supports RC soaring activities for pilots in northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio.
Maui Island Slope Soaring Operation (MISO): Maui Island Soaring Operation is located in Maui.
Mid Ohio Soaring Society (MOSS): Mid Ohio Soaring Society is located in central Ohio.
Minnesota Radio Control Soaring Society: The Minnesota Radio Control Soaring Society is based in the Twin Cities, Minneapolis and St. Paul Minnesota. Club flying sites include two sod farms and some great slopes.
Mississippi Valley Soaring Association (MVSA): Members of the Mississippi Valley Soaring Association, based in the St. Louis/St. Charles Missouri area, fly many kinds of airplanes, ranging from pint-size electrics to huge cross-country and scale sailplanes.
Montreal Area Thermal Soarers (MATS): Montreal Area Thermal Soarers are located in Montreal, Canada.
Orlando Buzzards Soaring Society: Orlando Buzzards Soaring Society is located in Florida.
Pikes Peak Soaring Society: The Pikes Peak Soaring Society is a radio-controlled model sailplane club based in Colorado Springs and devoted to the continued enjoyment of model aviation, model technology, and camaraderie among individuals who enjoy the beauty of motorless flight.
River Valley Flyers: River Valley Flyers are located in Wisconsin.
Rocky Mountain Soaring Association (RMSA): Rocky Mountain Soaring Association is located in Denver, Colorado. They fly a variety of sailplanes, including thermal duration, slope, scale, hand launch, cross country, and F3B.
Sacramento Valley Soaring Society (SVSS): Sacramento Valley Soaring Society is based out of Sacramento, California.
Santa Clarita Soaring Association: The Santa Clarita Soaring Association is located in the Santa Clarita Valley, California. They promote remote controlled soaring and electric powered airplanes of all types.
Seattle Area Soaring Society: The Seattle Area Soaring Society, covering the greater Puget Sound Area, utilizes 60 Acres South in Redmond, Washington, as their home field.
Silent Wings Soaring Association (SWSA): The Silent Wings Soaring Association (SWSA) is based in Covina, California.
Southern California Soaring Clubs: A group of ten large clubs in Southern California that host soaring competitions and promote soaring.
Soaring Pilots Association of Southern Maryland (SPASM): The Soaring Pilots Association of Southern Maryland (SPASM) is a group of sailplane and electric sailplane enthusiasts in Southern Maryland.
South Bay Soaring Society (SBSS): South Bay Soaring Society, based out of San Jose, California, fly thermal duration, F3B, scale, slope, and electric.
Tidewater Model Soaring Society (TMSS): Tidewater Model Soaring Society is over 30 years old and is based out of Virginia.
The Torrey Pines Gulls: The Torrey Pines Gulls fly both slope and "flat field" gliders in the San Diego California area.
Tri-State Soaring Society: Tri-State Soaring Society is located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with flyers from Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia.
Valley Forge Signal Seekers (VFSS): Valley Forge Signal Seekers fly in Valley Forge National Historic Park just northwest of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
West Michigan Soaring Society (WMSS): The West Michigan Soaring Society is out of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
