How a
pure flying wing could fly ? And without a computer on board ? Here is
displayed a solution that works, the Paoli
flying wing. Come and follow me on the adventurous way of pure
flying
wing.
The secret of this tailless AND finless aircraft, is very simple, and lies in the particular shape of the ailerons: Their hinges axis is 90° to the airflow. The wing using a flat airfoils ( yes, it is true !!!), they are cut after building, and inverted, the right aileron goes left, and the left goes right. |
